Description:
Robert is a non-descript man, easily able to blend into any crowd if he so chooses. He keeps his hair reasonably short and light brown, and will wear plain shirts and trousers when off duty. Whilst on duty he wears the standard captains uniform-at-ease, he does not display his medals. He has no distinguishing features, although he will occasionally grow a goatee beard for a few weeks if the mood takes him.

Brief History
Stryder joined the USF as a young teenager, he enrolled as a student to the military school on Remus against his parents wishes. He performed well, gained a good education and went straight into command school as recommended by his tutors.

On his graduation day Roberts parents officially disowned him and cut all ties as he finished the de-citizenship ceremony. (All members of command in the USF are required to drop their allegiances in order to remain impartial to each societies needs.) He did not seem to be overly concerned.

Stryder served with distinction on each ship he was assigned to, eventually becoming captain of a patrol ship, mainly spending time around the deep space border. After a short but intense battle with some pirates trying to break into the USF Cold Store in which Stryder was victorious (with the odds stacked firmly against him and his crew) he was offered the command of the Heart of Remus, a Fearless class battle cruiser which had just lost her captain. Stryder accepted, and was immediately dispatched to the border between the United Systems and the League of Free Worlds. Stryder watched the standoff for thirteen days before the fighting started.

The fighting was brutal and both sides lost crew and ships. Stryder was not invited to the talks that ended hostilities, however his ship was present as a deterrent of further fighting. He claims that the Heart of Remus did see who fired first - however Stryder deleted the records from the ships database in an attempt to avoid further hostilies.

After the Heart of Remus limped back to the USF Multi Purpose Shipyards at Rakus, Stryder declared that he could no longer serve the USF in a military capacity as he fundamentally disagreed with the way the USF was operated, specifically with regards to the Jahibian Tax War. As he was unable to leave the USF due to his lifetime commitment contract, he would captain passenger liners for the rest of his career. After a heated debate in a court room he was given command of the USF Neptune, an old, small and insignificant passenger liner and left to live out his life.

After three years and billions of light years traveled he was contacted by an unknown Admiral and once again given command of the Heart of Remus.

Stryders whereabouts, along with the Heart or Remus, are currently classified beyond the clearance of this office.
